Abstract
Description
On the Sacred Dialectic of Emptiness/Nothingness in Comparative Philosophy. In the twentieth century, philosophy has offered testimony of an exinanitio of the logos for the Besinnung, and of the blessed ostensive diakonia. The distinctive character of the post-modern is the process of tendency to the limit, in a transfiguration of the noetic activity into the contemplative one. In this historical-intellectual awareness, in the present article, I propose to suggest the following thesis in philosophical theology, in comparative philosophy: contemporary Western philosophy, in a more or less conscious comparison with Eastern thought, can come to measure itself with the reality traditionally called “God” through the category of emptiness.
