dc.descriptionThe Historic Antecedents of bonum coniugum in the Latin Patristic and Conciliar Reflexion and the Influence of the Pio-Benedictine Code. In order to better understand the theme of marital love in defining the sacrament of marriage, the study describes the tradition that surrounds it; from there the author analyzes the role and the legal basis, starting from the Council of Trent and up to the 1917 Pio-Benedictine Code. REZUMAT: Antecedentele istorice ale bonum coniugum în gândirea patristică latină şi conciliară şi influenţa codului pio-benedictin. Pentru a putea înţelege mai bine importanța iubirii conjugale în definirea sacramentului căsătoriei, studiul descrie tradiţia care o pregătește; articolul analizează importanța acestei teme și abordarea ei în legislația canonică, începând cu conciliul de la Trento şi până la Codul pio-benedictin din 1917.
