Hildegard of Bingen (1098-1179) describes the consequences of the destruction of nature with surprising modern illustrations. At the same time, she shows ways to change for the better. Instead of rebelling against God and the order of creation, man is invited to take his position in the heart of creation. Obedience frees man to deal with creation in a compliant manner. Hildegard von Bingen (1098-1179) descrie urmările distrugerii naturii în imagini surprinzător de actuale. Totodată ea arată care sunt căile care conduc spre schimbarea în bine. În loc să se răzvrătească împotriva lui Dumnezeu și a Creației, omul este invitat să se situeze în mijlocul Creației. Ascultarea îi dă omului libertatea să adopte un comportament adecvat față de Creație. Astfel el poate să răspundă iubirii lui Dumnezeu și să acționeze cu responsabilitate în lume.
