dc.descriptionV2 and the postposition of the subject in Danish, old French, and modern French. This article deals with the phenomenon V2 and the postposition of the subject in Danish, old French, and modern French. Danish is a strict V2 language. Strongly inspired by the Germanic, the old French is also a V2 language, whereas modern French has evolved towards an SVO language. The author suggests a hypothesis that can explain this change. Rezumat. V2 și postpunerea subiectului în daneză, franceza veche și franceza modernă. Articolul nostru se referă la fenomenul V2 și la postunerea subiectului în daneză, franceza veche și franceza modernă. Daneza este o limbă strict V2. Puternic inspirată de germană, vechea franceză este de asemenea o limbă V2, dar franceza modernă a evoluat spre o limbă SVO. Autorul propune o ipoteză care poate explica această schimbare.
