dc.descriptionA Few Wild Words: The Intellectual and Poetic Turning Point of Fondane. This article analyses the intellectual and poetic turning point of Benjamin Fondane, starting from A Few Wild Words, the introduction he wrote for his volume Landscapes. Setting side by side A Few Wild Words by Fondane and Der Meridian by Paul Celan, this study traces, by means of a comparative analysis of these texts, the close poetic interconnection between the two authors coming from Moldova and Bucovina, both historical regions of Romania destroyed by the horror of two world wars. Furthermore, this study examines the profound ennui and the kind of melancholy cruelty, typically Moldavian, which Fondane and Celan share in their specific way of writing poetry. REZUMAT. Cuvinte pădureţe: Virajul intelectual și poetic al lui Fondane. Acest articol explorează momentul de cotitură intelectuală și poetică al lui Fondane ce transpare din Cuvinte pădureţe, introducerea care însoțește volumul de poeme ale lui Fondane, Privelişti. Punând Cuvintele pădureţe ale lui Fondane în strânsă legătură cu creația lui Paul Celan din Meridianul, acest studiu urmărește să dezvăluie, printr-o analiză comparativă a celor două texte, interconexiunea strânsă care există, în cadrul poetic, între cei doi poeți ai Moldovei și Bucovinei, două regiuni istorice din România, devastate de oroarea celor două războaie mondiale. În plus, se examinează senzațiile de urât și profundă melancolie, pe care Fondane și Celan le împărtășesc prin modul lor specific de a crea poezie.
